Emma Wild Partner and Head of Upstream Oil & Gas, KPMG UK

 

 

 

Emma leads KPMGs Upstream Practice in the UK, with over 20 years of international experience within the oil and gas sector, as well as financial services. Prior to KPMG, she gained industry experience through various senior technical and commercial roles at Santos, RISC ltd, and Bank of Scotland. Emma graduated from the University of Adelaide with an honours degree in Chemical Engineering and has lived and worked in the U.K, Australia, and the U.S.A. She is passionate about gender diversity and draws upon her personal experiences to support the development of future female leaders in the sector. She is also an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and sits on the technical committee for the Hydrocarbon Economic Evaluation Symposium held in Houston every 2 years.

Tom Woolgar MD & Head of Energy Corporate Banking, EMEA, BMO Capital Markets

 

 

 

 

Tom is Managing Director and Head of Energy Corporate Banking, EMEA at BMO Capital Markets in London, where he is responsible for originating and managing a portfolio of corporate banking clients across the Oil & Gas industry. He principally covers Upstream E&P companies in EMEA, providing corporate, reserve based lending and acquisition financing products, but also covers a wide range of other companies across the Energy sector helpings his clients to access BMO Capital Markets other key product offerings including M&A, DCM, ECM, derivatives and trade finance.

He joined BMO in 2016 to build its upstream lending business in Europe and is playing a key role in developing BMO Capital Markets into a leading O&G bank in the region. Tom previously worked in similar O&G coverage roles at Scotiabank, Lloyds Bank, and Bank of Scotland. He holds an MBA from the University of Durham Business School and a BSc in Communications from the University of Leicester.

Bassem Zaki Group Head of Business Development, Premier Oil

Bassem heads the business development team at Premier Oil. He joined the oil industry as a research analyst with an oilfield services company in Cairo, Egypt. He then moved into Liquefied Natural Gas where he had various roles in the teams responsible for commercialising, project-financing and insuring the two LNG trains at EgyptianLNG. Bassem then took up several upstream commercial and business development appointments with BG Group and Hess in Cairo and London. He holds a BSc in mechanical engineering from the American University in Cairo and an MSc in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He joined Premier Oil in 2014.
